Digital Slaves is a series of 3 videos that talks about the relationships between humans and cell phones. Day by day the devices are more intelligent and they cause us an addiction that is very difficult to control. There are people who spend between 6 to 12 hours a day on their phone and this causes that the interaction with their family, friends or people in general decreases and increasingly isolates them towards the virtual world to which they do not belong. How many times do we ignore our reality because we are in another?
PLASTIC HUMANITY
Each year from 2020 it is estimated that 8.5 million tons of plastic will be discharged into the ocean, which indicates that if it continues each year in this way in 2050 this waste will exceed the weight of marine life, all this according to the journal Science Advances.
While all this is happening, we are watching our favorite TV series, consuming products that we do not need, ignoring this huge problem and doing nothing about it. My video series is a window into a reality that nobody wants to see but that hurts us all.
